As a service provider with over 500 employees we connect brokers, both online and offline, to insurers in the Dutch P&C market. We have a core focus on simple risk motor and home insurance lines. Technology and automation sits at the heart of the business.
We are a fifth generation family business, founded as an insurance broker in 1909 and headquartered in Middelharnis, The Netherlands. The family was one of the first to recognise the role that technology, automation and specialist services would play in the development of the Dutch insurance industry. In the mid-1970s we became singularly focused on these themes as a service provider, building industries first software and technology tools.
As a trustworthy partner in the heart of the industry, V&V’s platform has built a reputation with insurers and brokers for leading innovation, consistency and focus. The whole of market insurer coverage provides a one-stop-shop for brokers to access a full product range of 20 insurers through a single platform. Vice versa we provide insurers via the same platform access to our distribution platform of 2.500 brokers. Voogd & Voogd also has a leading position in providing insurance solutions for the clients of the fast growing online brokers.
Service providing Insurers
Recent developments include the signing of two contracts with insurers where Voogd & Voogd took over the whole P & C administration including their employees. The contract with Delta Lloyd Schadeverzekering N.V. was established in 2016 and with Nationale-Nederlanden Schadeverzekering Maatschappij N.V. in 2018. The total yearly gross written primium of the contracts exceeds 250€ million.
Voogd & Voogd Group
Innovations like artificial intelligence and other on-going platform developments are core philosophies embedded in the Group’s management and operations. Today the Group has a premium portfolio of over €600 million. Michael de Nijs is CEO of the company since March 2020. In 2017 Five Arrows Principal Investments (family Rothschild) became a shareholder next to Michael de Nijs (CEO) and Bas de Voogd (Chairman Supervisory Board).
